user agreement

All Customers of Jaxon Road's basic services are subject to the terms and conditions contained in the User Agreement. The User Agreement is a legal contract between Jaxon Road and the User that contains the rights, duties and obligations of Jaxon Road and the User.

 

acceptable use policy

Jaxon Road's Usage Policy is designed to protect Jaxon Road, its Users and others from illegal, malicious, damaging and inappropriate behavior by Users of Jaxon Road's services. All users of Jaxon Road's services are subject to the Usage Policy. The Usage Policy lists activities that are prohibited on Jaxon Road's services, such as hacking and spamming.

 

domain registration agreement

Customers of Jaxon Road wishing to register, transfer or renew a domain name must agree to the Domain Registration Agreement.

In our ongoing commitment to providing superior service for our customers, Jaxon Road has introduced a new, more vigilant anti-spam policy. We have implemented the following policy as a part of our commitment to reducing spam related activity.

 
privacy policy

Jaxon Road's Privacy Policy covers treatment of information that Jaxon Road may collect from users of its products and services and from visitors to the Jaxon Road site.

 

domain name dispute policy

The Domain Name Dispute Policy covers Jaxon Road's involvement in disputes relating specifically to domain name registrations.

 

civil subpoena policy

The Civil Subpoena Policy covers Jaxon Road's handling of formal legal requests for the release of account information.

 

copyright claims policy

Jaxon Road's Copyright Claims Policy provides information for parties wishing to notify us of claimed intellectual property infringements present on sites hosted on our servers.

 

ownership changes and disputes

The Ownership Changes and Dispute policy covers the customers responsibility for any changes to the ownership of a hosting account.

 

professional services agreements

Jaxon Road offers certain Professional Services in addition to the basic hosting service. Customers purchasing any Professional Services must read and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this section for each Professional Service they purchase.

All Parties wishing to join Jaxon Road's Affiliate program must read and agree to the Affiliate Terms & Conditions.

 

report spam and abuse

Please send reports of spam and abuse to abuse@jaxonroad.com. In the case of spam, please include the full message being reported as spam including all mail headers.

 

unlimited web hosting

How much disk space and bandwidth will my plan include?

There are no set limits on the disk space or data transfer (bandwidth) that we provide in our shared and reseller hosting plans. We want you to have the resources you need to build a great online presence.  That being said, we do require all customers to be fully compliant with our Terms of Service and utilize disk space and bandwidth in the normal operation of a personal or small business website. While it is rare, we may need to put constraints on accounts that are using resources that impact other customers on the same server.

Typically, customers only run into issues if they use their accounts for storage or file sharing, which is not what our services are intended to support. In accordance with our Terms of Services the disk space and bandwidth you use must be integrated into the normal operation of your website.

For Example, customers who are affecting other clients or are using 25% or more of system resources for longer then 90 seconds would be in violation. Please see our TOS or contact us for complete details and restrictions.

What happens if I exceed usage?

If we have concerns about your account's bandwidth or disk space utilization, you will receive an email asking you to reduce usage.

Again, it is very rare for a customer who is managing a personal or small business website to exceed our usage policies.

 

 

email storage

Our servers are not built for email storage.  Our servers are built for performance, not email storage or daily large data transfers such as plans or many high-resolution photos being sent at one time or daily.  All clients are expected to configure their email clients accordingly.  See Email Settings to help you with setting up your email.
